The following schedule changes are planned for the Easter holiday period, between Friday 18th and Monday 21st April, and ANZSAC day 25th April.
Whilst we make every effort not to miss customers scheduled collections and requests, some customers may experience a delay in having their bins emptied over the Easter Holiday period. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
The following collection schedule changes are planned:
Relating to emptying of Large Yellow Cages or Bins
For Friday 18th - No collections scheduled for Cardboard, Paper or Plastic Film Cages.
For Monday 21st and Friday 25th - Reduced collections scheduled for Cardboard Cages.
Relating to collection of Loose Cardboard Bundles (loose or in small plastic bins)
For Friday 18th and Sunday 20th - Collections will be made on Saturday 19th and 26th.
For Monday 21st - These collections will be merged on Tuesday 22nd in the City or
Wednesday 23rd in the North Shore.
Relating to emptying of Green Wheelie Bins containing Paper
All collections in the City and in the West will be merged into this week's and next week’s runs.
All collections in the North Shore and the Airport area will be rescheduled for the next available day.
Relating to emptying of Blue Wheelie Bins containing Mixed Containers
For Friday 18th, Monday 21st and Friday 25th – Collections will occur only for larger high-volume retail customers and hospitals on Saturday 19th, Tuesday 22nd and again on Saturday 26th. All other collections will be moved to the next scheduled day of collection.
Relating to emptying of Yellow Wheelie Bins containing Glass Containers
Friday 18th collections will be completed on Saturday 19th and all other collections will be completed as normal (as long as customers have bins out for emptying).
Relating to emptying of Orange Wheelie Bins containing Food Waste
Food waste will run on Thursday 17th (to cover Friday) and Tuesday 22nd (to cover Monday).
Next week, food waste will also run on Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th.
